Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Watkins ECC! Open House is on Thursday, August 22 from 4-7 PM. We are doing Open House by appointment times to allow us time and attention for each family. We encourage everyone to set up an appointment time to come meet the teachers and see the classroom! This will help your child feel more comfortable on the first day of school, and will allow parents to get some important information. In addition to seeing the classroom and meeting teachers, some other highlights of this event are:
- We will have nametags and the required yellow pick-up cards to give to parents/guardians.
- Transportation information will be available, including bus stops and pickup/dropoff times. There will even be a bus at the school so your child can experience getting on and off and practice sitting correctly!
- Representatives from Transportation and Child Nutrition Services will be available to answer questions and concerns.
- Each child will receive a packet with important forms to complete, and other school and classroom information. Links to an online version of some of the forms are below. Feel free to complete the forms electronically if you prefer! Online forms will be used throughout the year in an effort to make parent communication convenient for both teachers and parents.
